D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Field Assistant - WA. The right candidate will oversee and detail homes for walk-throughs; perform general labor to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of homes and neighborhoods being built.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Complete all work in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
  • Help in the presentation of homes for customers
  • Load and deliver materials
  • Set up and take down temporary structures
  • Complete job site cleanup daily by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Complete any duties assigned by the foreman
  • Move appliances and fixtures as needed
  • Assist specialized contractors as needed


Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and willingness to travel
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; climb, balance and stoop, crouch or crawl; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision
  • Regular exposure to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places and risk of electrical shock. The noise level is generally loud

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Two or more years of experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
