The Field Sales Account Manager, Healthcare is responsible for all customer service and sales activity and route management within an assigned territory, and providing on-site service to all prospect and client pharmacy operations in the assigned territory. The incumbent will perform a wide variety of duties centered around the sales and service of the Inmar Healthcare solutions.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • 60% service and 40% sales duties, or as previously determined by Regional Manager

  • Schedule meaningful sales appointments to promote Inmar Rx Returns and Workplace Solution offerings; effectively present and close hospital and independent retail pharmacies.

  • Interface with customers on a professional level at all times, handling concerns and providing education on all services and regulatory compliance issues. Establish client needs.

  • Safely travel to scheduled locations throughout assigned territory, servicing the pharmacy by handling all pharmaceutical returns. Ensure the client has all tools needed for proper return of products.

  • Responsible for inventorying all controlled pharmaceuticals and completing proper documentation as required by law.

  • Prepare and package the returns shipment consistent with the company procedures and the requirements of the commercial freight forwarder.

  • Accurately prepare all internal documentation such as itineraries, supply requisitions and expense reports and submit according to established procedures.

  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties such as emailing, phone calling, and following up as needed. Maintain current customer database. Upkeep of sales notes in Salesforce.com.

  • Ensure compliance with company Injury and Illness Prevention program.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree with 2 - 5 years of experience in sales and territory management or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the job responsibilities.

  • Intermediate experience in all Microsoft applications.

  • Ability to travel daily by car with overnight travel 3-5 times a month.

  • Ability to establish personal credibility and trusting relationships.

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and obey all traffic laws.
