Requisition ID req20628 The CDD Autism Programs are needing to fill multiple part-time, (.50fte) 20 hours per week, Family Specialists positions. These individuals, working under direct supervision, will respond to specific parent requests for information. Based on parent inquiry, the Family Specialist gathers information on local resources regarding autism spectrum disorders, considers support needs of local family members, assists in providing community training in the area of autism spectrum disorders, and offers technical assistance to service providers in the area of autism. High school diploma or GED; at least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
