Established boutique family law firm in Northfield seeking a family law associate with 2-4 years’ experience.A fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team.This is a direct hire, permanent position.Ideal candidate will have strong oral advocacy, analytical and communications skills as well as litigation experience in the family law area.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of Illinois with 2-4 years of experience
• Litigation experience required
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Excellent people skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Superb research skills, including Westlaw, Lexis, and Fastcase
• Working knowledge of family law
• Ability to travel to Cook, Lake, and collar counties

Responsibilities: * Represent clients in a wide range of family law litigation matters

• Regularly handle court appearances, conduct depositions and hearings
• Case oversight so that all cases move smoothly through the litigation process
