Essential Responsibilities:
- Promote a culture of fair & responsible banking within the bank
- Work with lines of business to identify and obtain relevant information necessary to assist in measuring and/or evaluating UDAAP risk across loans, deposit or any other relevant financial service and escalate potential UDAAP risks to your supervisor
- Validate accuracy of information collected and work with appropriate business lines to resolve noted differences or deficiencies
- Build strong partnerships across the organization and provide subject matter expertise and support guidance on fair banking related matters
- Collaboratively work with FRB analysts to provide appropriate data files for in-depth data analysis when applicable
- Maintain a current knowledge of applicable consumer protection laws and regulations, business operations and internal Compliance policy and procedures
- Maintain the schedule and coordinate the activity for the FRB models to ensure compliance with Model Risk Management requirements
- Obeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:
- Familiarity with loan origination & processing, core banking and document imaging systems
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, computer proficiency (Excel, Word) and an eye for detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and in an ever-changing regulatory environment
- Ability to meet scheduled deadlines while managing competing priorities
- Discretion and a demonstrated ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Compliance risk related experience
- Bank and/or mortgage lending experience
- Power BI experience
Physically you can anticipate to:
- Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
- Exert up to/carry 25 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
- Vision, hearing, speech, and manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers is required.
- Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing
documentation. - Not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
