LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a Facilities Quality Control Manager (QCM) to join our team to provide operation and maintenance support for the National Archives Buildings in College Park, MD and Washington, DC. Summary: The Quality Control Manager ensures through various audits, inspections, tests and measures that LB&B personnel performing follow approved procedures/directives when performing repairs to equipment, performing work under service calls, alterations and maintenance and preventive maintenance services. The work requirement includes audits on preventive maintenance processes, service calls, and maintenance repairs of a wide variety of electrical, electronic, and HVAC systems. Requirements: The Quality Control Manager must have five (5) years within the last seven (7) years quality management experience in the management and supervision of complex government, commercial or institutional facilities involving facility operations, maintenance, and janitorial of the approximate size and characteristics of the Archives facilities. Must have demonstrated skills and knowledge in the establishment and management of an organization that will operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The QCM must be thoroughly knowledgeable of quality control concepts and procedures, specifically applicable to building alterations, operational equipment and systems. Must possess the skill and knowledge to interpret and apply specifications to equipment. The QCM must have knowledge of such programs as the calibration recall program, preventive maintenance, service calls and maintenance repairs applicable to a building environment. Additionally, the QCM will have a thorough knowledge of quality assurance principles.
