Facilities Maintenance Technician (Swing Shift)

As Penumbra continues to grow its campus and expand into new buildings, members of the Facilities team play a critical role in maintaining a pleasant and safe working environment for all employees by overseeing building repairs and maintenance. We are seeking a skilled technician and/or electrician, who will enable the smooth transition into new facilities. Penumbra is positioned on a sprawling 4 acre complex with 6 buildings and growing.
Hours: Noon-8:30pm (Monday - Friday)

What You'll Work On

• Maintain roof top equipment; perform preventative maintenance; troubleshoot issues
• Install/relocate outlets, devices
• Repair any walls, ceilings, tiles (VCT), flooring, commercial doors (adjustments and maintenance), that are damaged in the day to day work environment
• Fulfill employee requests for chairs, cabinets, whiteboards and keys
• Repair or replace lighting fixtures and exit signs
• Repair leaks from plumbing fixtures
• Coordinate company participation in mandated recycling program
• Build or repair cubicles
• Interface with contractors and vendors

What You Bring

• A helpful, problem-solving demeanor
• At least three years of experience in electrical and facility maintenance
• Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to work independently and be part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills
