Hallmark Homecare is looking for an experienced caregiver to provide daytime care for a male client in Riverhead, NY. Very nice client, home and family. The patient is mostly bedridden and may require the occasional use of a hoyer. Experience is very important. CNA, HHA preferred, but not required as long as you have experience with stroke, in-bed care. The ideal candidate will be responsible, punctual, honest and kind.

The Basics:

• 9 am to 5 pm. 7 days/week. Looking for weekday and weekend coverage.
• Location: Riverhead, NY
• $18/hour for the right caregiver

• Start immediately
• Driving/Vehicle NOT required
• No pets

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of home care and/or elder care experience
• HHA / CNA preferred, but not required
• Able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
• Hoyer lift experience. Client 160 lbs.
• Stroke experience a big plus

Responsibilities:

• In-bed personal care
• Transferring/Lifting
• Feeding
• Dressing/Grooming
