Beautiful Lake Tahoe Awaits! The Board of Directors is looking for a new Executive Director to lead the team at Pet Network Humane Society (PNHS), located in Incline Village, Nevada (population 8,500). Nestled on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, which Mark Twain once called "the fairest picture the whole world affords," Incline Village is a paradise for those who seek leisure or adventure, offering exhilarating activities all year round. The town has two golf courses, a recreation center and is home to Sierra Nevada College. In the summer, Lake Tahoe’s North Shore is where you will find some of the area’s most relaxing beaches, as well as opportunities for a wide variety of outdoor activities on the lake such as kayaking, boating, and fishing. The surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains have superb hiking and mountain biking trails in the summer months as well as numerous winter activities, drawing flocks of snow lovers to Diamond Peak and Mt. Rose ski areas, among other nearby ski resorts. While Lake Tahoe itself is the place to unwind, it is also conveniently located to Reno, including the Reno-Tahoe International Airport which is about a 45-minute drive from Incline Village, and Carson City, Nevada’s capital, which is about a 25-minute drive. South Lake Tahoe, also about a 25-minute drive, is home to the area’s largest casinos.
