Are you a highly organized individual and proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel? We are looking for someone to fill the role of Administrative Assistant, responsible for supporting the estimating & engineering department’s daily work activities.
This position is responsible for coordinating the administrative tasks of preparing quotes, job set-ups and processing contractual change orders. In this role, they will perform secretarial work of some difficulty, which involves independent judgment as well as general office functions and related work as required.
Responsibilities for this role includes:
- General Office and administrative support by maintaining organizational files and records
- Create and maintain detailed spreadsheets for various activities in the department.
- Assist in bid setup, bid coordination, bid scheduling, bid results tracking, job setup and coding, job change orders, job request for proposals setup, preparation and tracking.
- Proofreading and making necessary corrections to the bids prior to sending them out to the customers.
- Submitting/Sending out bids by the project deadline. Must be able to work in a time sensitive and deadline driven workplace.
- Utilizes software and/or company tracking systems to keep bid information current and accessible to a variety of users.
Skills Needed for this role includes:
- Successful candidate must have prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced skills in MS Word & MS Excel are required.
- This role requires exceptional time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize workload.
- Must be a detail-oriented and a go-getter who can work independently.
- Self-starter, problem solver and able to assess situations and react accordingly.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop a high level of personal credibility with employees and management.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
