OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

  • Provides support for technical release as well as build and run of ERP landscapes,
    making ERP Product Services more agile, product centric and delivering service excellence
  • Ensures platform services are provided in time, with expected high level of quality and high degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Partners with peers in the Operating Excellence, Platform and Architectural Services lines to drive continuous improvements of service processes, user experiences, infrastructure and application optimization.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Accountable for technical release in conjunction with the services teams for build, maintainance and support of ERP systems and infrastructure with all applicable compliance requirements, e.g. JSOX, GxP
  • Ensure all releases and ERP systems and components are aligned to the global template standards with regards to compliant and validated ERP landscapes.
  • Execute the change and release process and coordinate external providers to build and run the required ERP landscapes in time and quality to ensure that the Service Level Agreements agreed with the stakeholders are met
  • Drive the delivery of ERP landscapes by monitoring, advising and bringing expertise in service managament to ensure that Product Services is acting more agile, product centric and providing service excellence.
  • Participate in the execution and deployment of continuous improvements for the area of responsibility.
  • Manage smaller projects like Solution Manager refrehses, DR testing, new system line establishment
  • Ensure that the IT environment meets all applicable regulatory, quality, legal, and compliance requirements - including licensing of software and data protection acts (DPA, GDPR, etc.).
  • Adhere to the organization’s strategy for managing SAP systems and the policies, standards, procedures and methods necessary to implement the strategy

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Required:

  • Min. 8+ years of IT work experience, which includes project management experience, and people management experience.
  • Technical expertise in multiple SAP solution areas.
  • System administration experience, including installation, upgrade of SAP landscapes; from project initiation till handover to operations.
  • Change and Release management process and SAP Solution toolset expertise(for example Solution Manager, CHaRM, FocusBuild, etc.).
  • Communication – ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.
  • Analytical Skills – ability to analyze a wide variety of data and make appropriate decisions.
  • Data Management – ability to utilize data collection, analysis, maintenance application and refinement methods to make fact based decisions.
  • Practice efficient time management and coordinates tasks, working in an international environment.
  • Bachelors or other advanced degree

Desired:

  • Master degree.
  • In-depth Pharmaceutical industry and drug development experience.
  • Experience with validated systems
