EnviroSure, Inc. is seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist or Geologist to add to our New Jersey team. The position offers a dynamic and self-motivated individual the unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing small business. The position offers a balance between field and office work. The work will be remote at the start, and then moved to a Robbinsville, NJ office location in the future.Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessment projects primarily in New Jersey and NYC
- Serve as EnviroSure’s representative actively participating in commercial/industrial real estate trade associations in northern New Jersey for business development
- Support proposal preparation, subcontractor coordination, and budget/schedule adherence
- Coordinate project activities for site remediation projects with the client and project team
- Conduct fieldwork involving multi-media sampling including soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge of NJDEP Site Remediation Program and NYDEC regulations
- Multi-media sampling experience including but not limited to soil, groundwater, vapor and indoor air sampling
- Experience writing or assisting with Phase I and Phase II ESA reports, Preliminary Assessment, Site Investigation, Remedial Investigation and Action Reports
- Experience preparing analytical data tables
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and computer skills
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification
- Ability to work on a team as well as individually on task assignments
- Property Condition Assessment experience (preferred by not required)
- Wetlands delineation experience (preferred but not required)
