Salary $22.69 - $36.31 Hourly $47,199 - $75,518 Annually This position is a Pay Band EE THIS POSTING WILL BE USED TO CONDUCT ONGOING RECRUITMENT AND WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED. Position manages duties of Technician Supervisor on multiple on-going construction projects to include compiling and reviewing project progress reports, ensure projects are constructed in accordance with contractual guidelines, plans and specifications as warranted by field conditions and control. Position is responsible to assign various construction project tasks for subordinate technicians. Position is responsible to assign various construction project tasks for subordinate technicians. The position will report to the Espanola Project Office. Incumbent will over see Contractors work to assure compliance with plans and specifications. Position will also require project documentation for progress payments and change orders. Position will also be required to provide adequate project documentation which is placed in Site Manager. The traveling public and citizens of New Mexico. High School Diploma or equivalent and eight (8) years of relevant experience, two (2) years of which must be supervisory. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below. Employment requires successful completion of post offer pre-employment physical exam and is conditional pending results. Work is performed in office/field in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, humidity, wind, rain, and snow. May include exposure to: ' Sunlight, dust, pollen, chemicals, rough/rugged terrain, insects and reptiles, noxious plants and infected trash; exposure to ' Moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, toxic fumes/chemicals and/or airborne particles, hazardous chemicals and/or asphalt and petroleum products; ' Highway speed/high volume traffic and loud noises; ' Falls and bruises, considerable physical strain; ' Heavy lifting; sitting/standing, bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, kneeling and crawling for extended periods of time may be required. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work may also include being performed in an office setting with exposure to visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and telephone usage to include working with faxes, copiers and printers. May be required to work irregular hours or emergencies on short notice; willingness to accept change or geographical assignments; interaction with the public, local, county schools and city officials by phone and in person.
