Job Description SummaryThe Equipment and Process Technician will be responsible for the daily execution of assigned tasks and projects for the GE Additive Binder Jet Program. In the role of Additive Engineering Technician, you will be self-directed working within defined parameters and work plans to meet day to day and short-term objectives of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.Job Description In addition, the Equipment and Process Technician will: Systematic trouble shooting of : Effectively use metrology tools such as: ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S): Desired Characteristics Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Additionally, as the Equipment and Process Technician, you will:
Take ownership for assignment lab areas including:
Share engineering information and promote open dialogue
Support preparation of invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business
Follow technical plans to meet desired manufacturing objectives
Adhere to a detailed schedule for a complex engineering and/or manufacturing development work scope
Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives
Perform periodic maintenance and safety inspections
Produce prototype and low-rate production hardware by working hands-on with the machines and performing periodic machine checks
Ability and willingness to work overtime as required to meet needs of the business
