Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinate the inbound receiving and tracking of products in need of inspection or repair
Communicate the status and cost of repairs to sales reps and/or customers via phone and email
Inspect defective products to diagnose the causes of failure and determine cost of repairs
Enter and maintain the accurate status and testing logs of each repair into the database
Testing of Keyence owned trial and demo equipment
Travel to warehouse, as needed, to lead and assist the testing teams
Requirements and Qualifications
Ability to establish and maintain good communication with sales and customers
Ability to use basic hand tools
Analytical skill to identify the underlying causes of product failure
Integrity – job requires appropriate handling of confidential, sensitive information
Dependability - meeting deadlines, completing duties or projects on time
Ability to lift 30 - 70 lbs. of equipment
Knowledge of Microsoft-based applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Repair skills including soldering and use of testing equipment such as a digital voltmeter
Ability to read schematics
2-year technical degree and/or previous instrument repair or quality control experience
