Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems is currently seeking an Engineering Manager – Microgrid Controls Platforms to join our team. This position will be based at any Eaton office location in the United States and does offer relocation assistance. In addition, this role collaborates with the hardware / firmware engineering teams for each separate Eaton control platform to meet specific microgrid & DER product line control requirements. The annual salary range for this role is $114,000 - $156,750 a year. The position is eligible for an annual performance-based incentive plan with a target at 18% of base salary. The Engineering Manager – Microgrid Control Platforms is a critical role for the Microgrid & Distributed Energy Resources (DER) control product line and Eaton energy transition strategy. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to lead the execution of energy transition controls product development programs from an engineering and technical perspective. The controls product development program will be based upon multiple existing Eaton control platforms to form a family of microgrid energy control platforms focused on specific energy transition applications. This role will include controls hardware specification and selection, collaboration with the microgrid and energy transition application software development COE to achieve application software objectives of the product line.
