JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State College of Engineering seeks candidates for the job of Graduate Enrollment Coordinator. The Coordinator of Graduate Enrollment is involved in all aspects of recruiting students into College of Engineering graduate degree programs, including new residential and online programs. The role is essential to the success of the College’s graduate programs, with direct impact on graduate enrollments and rankings. In consultation with college leadership, the Coordinator plans and coordinates admissions functions across college programs. These functions involve the following: The Coordinator is expected to: The Coordinator works closely with staff members in all academic departments, and reports to the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs. The Coordinator also works with other members of the college staff including those in the Office of Graduate Professional Programs, the Office of Equity and Inclusion, communications, career services and employer relations, and student services. The Coordinator interacts on a regular basis with faculty members, current students, alumni, and other internal and external stakeholders. The position typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's degree preferred) plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. We seek someone with energy and drive who wants to create and execute strategy in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate would be passionate about recruiting great students into and advocating for Penn State Engineering graduate programs. Some travel is required. This position requires occasional operation of a motor vehicle; a valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
