This is a part-time position as a classroom teacher, with responsibility for adapting curriculum as well as planning and implementing engaging and meaningful lessons. Teachers will create a supportive and intellectual learning environment for their students, and communicate with parents as partners in the process to help students to develop and fulfill their academic and personal potential.

Ideal candidates have 2 or more years of successful teaching experience, strong pedagogical skills, and the desire to grow professionally in a highly collaborative environment. Candidates must have excellent classroom management and have experience with differentiation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement instruction that provides purposeful, engaging, and collaborative learning experiences

• Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet the needs of each individual learner

• Communicate student progress frequently and clearly with parents and students

• Prepare report cards and formal progress updates

• Maintain an organized, welcoming classroom environment conducive to student learning

• Collaborate on the continued development of the Elementary School curriculum

• Participate and engage in ongoing professional development

• Participate in supervisory duties as scheduled by Administration
