Electronics Technician

TAI is actively seeking an Electronics Technician to support our medical device client in Baltimore, MD. This Tech’s responsibilities include supporting the development and manufacturing of a device containing digital controls, sensors, batteries, user controls/displays, pneumatics, fluidics, pump drives and other mechanical systems that communicate with blood and oxygen.
Job Duties:- Electromechanical assembly, prototyping and fabrication.
- Inspection of mechanical components.
- Verification of specifications by measuring and testing.
- Development and assembly of test fixtures.
- Refinement of manufacturing processes.
- Support of laboratory operations and testing.
- Conduct experiments and collect data
- Work as an integral member of the product development team throughout the product lifecycle, working with mechanical, electrical, software and firmware engineers.
Qualifications/Requirements:- Associates degree in technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a design, development or manufacturing environment
- Hands-on electrical circuit test and troubleshooting experience of analog, digital, and mixed signal systems
- Engineering documentation, assembly drawings, manufacturing procedures
- Experience with electromechanical devices
- Ability to use a variety of machine and hand tools
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with medical device standards is preferred
