This highly skilled position will support our plastic inline extrusion/thermoforming and paper cup operations efficiently through troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment and processes. Essential Responsibilities: As an Ecopax/Pando Maintenance technician you will be called upon to perform the following types of tasks: · Troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, and circuits · Installing and aligning new equipment · Performing periodic proactive equipment work, such as maintenance machine analysis, preventative maintenance, and other tasks to improve reliability and up-time · Installing and repairing mechanical drives, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, belts, and couplings · Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic systems, control devices, hydraulic equipment, circuits and components · Performing daily preventative maintenance · Reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics · Working with the manufacturing and Maintenance Managers to identify and prioritize maintenance needs · Helping meet or exceed production and quality goals while optimizing equipment to reduce waste · Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participating in the safety program · Using pipe-fitting skills to weld, cut, fit and install piping throughout the facility · Fabrication and assembly of simple components · Applying problem solving methods to identify the root cause and eliminate failures Basic Qualifications: · High school diploma or GED · At least three (5) years of electrical experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment · At least two (5) years of experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems · At least three (5) years of experience with installation, calibration, fabrication, and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment · Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings · Experience with single and 3-phase electrical repair and troubleshooting up to 480 Volts · Experience with fabrication and welding · Experience troubleshooting issues with motors, bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes and conveyors · Experience with precision alignment of motors, couplings, bearings, and pumps and lubrication · Experience working with preventative and predictive maintenance · Previous exposure to plastic extrusion and/or thermoforming processing equipment · Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment; e.g. safety glasses, hearing protection and other PPE as required by specific job Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour Benefits: Schedule: COVID-19 considerations: Company's website: Work Remotely: COVID-19 Precaution(s):
