Job Description Overview:

The shop technician will be working on multiple industrial tasks, operating hand tools, mounting components to metal pans, wiring electrical control panels and industrial electrical motor controls. Ideally, candidates will possess a mechanical/technical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read a wiring diagram is a huge plus.

Responsibilities/Qualities:

· Ensure mechanical operations, standards, and controls are working and maintained at a high quality.

· Diagnoses problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

· Demonstrate safe work practices and habits.

· Repair and perform preventative maintenance as per established standards.

· Ability to read wiring diagrams not required but encouraged.

· PLC or VFD experience a huge plus.

· Eager to learn, self-starter willing to step outside the job description to learn and grow.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Basic Computer skills

Requirements:

· High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Experience

· Successfully complete background check and drug screening

· Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear 100% of the time, bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently

· Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Tulsa, OK: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)
