Job Description: Performs system troubleshooting electrical avionics systems or sub-system components in a lab or field, wire harness assembly here at KUAS ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Builds wire harnesses per engineering drawings, order(s) prototype parts expertise with military style circular connectors. Utilizes various types of crimping tools for harness assembly. Other Job Functions Other duties may be assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary Ability to adhere to workplace rules Ability to effectively communicate professionally in writing or verbally with all levels of personnel Must have hands-on experience as a Avionics Technician Complies with established QMS and Safety procedures and directives. Willingness to travel as necessary to perform job duties EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: US Security Clearance required WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing, walking, bending, reaching and working from slightly elevated surface Manipulating materials and hand tools Office and or manufacturing environment Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, phones) Occasionally lifts and carries heavy objects Ability to lift up to 25 pounds May work extended hours or weekends Possibility of exposure to noise and hazardous chemicals TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 0-15% - May be required between KUAS locations
