This individual will be responsible for developing and driving technical innovation for the business. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of electrical test engineers developing test routines for new products as well as being the technical interface to CTDI’s customers. This individual should be a highly motivated, quick learner who enjoys a hands-on, high-speed work environment. Specifically, the responsibilities of this position include:
- Determine test standards and best practices for engineering group
- Ensure proper engineering documentation for test procedures and other necessary engineering documents for PPAP and TS16949 requirements
- Optimize equipment testing and repair processes.
- Support local branch on technical requirements.
- Project planning for new development around new businesses.
- Managing infotainment head-end systems in the branches.
- Work with operations to ensure successful implementation of test equipment and test routines.
Required Skills
- Telecommunications industry experience
- Automation, Material Handling and Robotics Automation is a big plus
- Managing Engineers from different fields particularly electrical, mechanical and software, is a must have skill.
- Expertise in CAN bus
- Clear discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Required Experience
- 10+ years of Hands-on technical engineering experience
- 3+ years of recent engineering management experience
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of science
