Posting SummaryRutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Educational Specialist (Oncology Nursing) for the Office of Human Research Services at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
The primary purpose of the Oncology Nurse Education Specialist is to support educational growth and development for a diverse staff while working closely with the management team of Nursing & Office of Human Research Services (OHRS) at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. This position will play a key role in all components of education, training and mentoring of clinical research staff in their mastery of cancer content with an emphasis on clinical trials. An ability to collaborate with others is key. In addition to being an integral part of the clinical research team, this position should demonstrate the ability to form and maintain professional relationships beyond Nursing & OHRS supporting the continuous learning needs of CINJ Oncology Group’s affiliates. Works with management to assure that all clinical research conducted within the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey is according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines as well as applicable Institutional, State and Federal regulations and guidelines. In addition, this position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives established by the management team.
