THE POSITION The Department of Corrections, State Correctional Institution at Albion, is seeking a highly motivated Educational Guidance Counselor, Corrections Education to join the Education Department. As an Education Guidance Counselor, Corrections Education, you will provide individual and group counseling and guidance to incarcerated adults on enrolling in ABE/GED classes. You will assist incarcerated adults in selecting and enrolling in vocational classes based on academic level, interests, and availability of courses. This position also serves as an Alternate GED examiner. Qualifications:
