We are looking for a talented individual with business development and account management experience in the academic community (K-20+) to drive growth of our education initiatives throughout the Americas and maintain a high level of customer service.

In addition to managing the education channel at a local, state/province, and national level, the ideal individual will have knowledge of data analytics, data science, and/or predictive modeling software. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about education, impacting lives, and can easily work with other Alteryx stakeholders (i.e., CSR, Univ Relations, Sales, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation of global and regional strategies for Alteryx Education initiatives.

  • Develop plans to obtain in-region growth against key objectives and budget.Establish key metrics, track, and drive those metrics.

  • Oversee aspects of marketing demand generation, enrollment, support, compliance, and continuous management of the academic partners in-region.

  • Drive potential new business initiatives and partnership to expand and scale our Data Analytics/Data Science education initiatives.

  • Ensure curricula is mapped to national/regional/local guidelines to maximize adoption in-region.

  • Build relationships with stakeholders including academic institutions, students, instructors, government (national, state, local), and non-government organizations to help drive program strategy and proliferation.

  • Plan, organize and execute events for the academic community such as teacher/faculty professional development, competitions, conferences, etc.

  • Work with other company stakeholders (i.e., CSR, Univ Relations, Sales, etc.) to ensure academy engagement is in line with regional strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.), preferable in business or related Data Analytics/Data Science /IT education discipline. MBA or MS preferred.

  • 5+ years’ experience managing education/academic customers (K-20+) and partners (i.e., NSF ATE Centers, public/private education organizations, etc.) in the U.S. and Canada.

  • Experience with building and extending education/academic programs from concepts to scale.

  • Experience working with state and province education boards to get curricula approved for diploma, certificate, and degree programs.

  • A solid understanding of IT or Data Analytics/Data Science education.Preferably in all academic markets (Secondary, Post-Secondary, STEAM, Career Colleges, etc.).

  • Business development and education account management experience.

  • Great customer relationship skills.

  • A good understanding of marketing and social media principles and strategies particularly as they apply to students and education markets.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, able to monitor activities, analyze data, identify problems, and develop solutions.

  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, CO is 88,400 – 150,300. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
