The eCommerce Merchandising Manager will take a lead role with the Account Marketing team in helping to define and deploy best-in-class user experiences on our owned B2B ordering platform, Trading Post. Our B2B site is more than a shopping experience; it also represents the pinnacle expression of our brand for our dealers in the US, Canada and Corporate Sales. As such, you will help execute a strategy that unites content and commerce in a way that engages our dealers and drives high converting shopping experiences.
Responsibilities:
Merchandising & Content
- Take an active role, in the early stages of the product lifecycle, with our Category team in devising a merchandising strategy for new products
- Collaborate closely with Account Marketing on ideation and execution of seasonal campaign calendars
- Creative briefings on specific needs of Trading Post, with regards to product story-telling
Operations
- Manage channel-specific SKU set up/execution to include new product set up and removal of outdated information.
- Closely monitor category and SKU-specific metrics, taking a deep and consistent view of product performance down at the impression level, traffic by source, etc.
- Work alongside internal teams and outside vendors to develop requirements and manage future platform enhancements
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or eCommerce or related field of study
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in digital merchandising and content space
- Hands-on experience with technical site merchandising required
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and B2B Commerce (CloudCraze) preferred
- Ability to deliver results in evolving framework with shifting priorities and technology
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, site analytics tools and familiarity with content management tools
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills
- An obsession with the user experience and interaction, website navigation, hierarchy, and content
