We are seeking an Echo Technologist for a On Call position. This position will pick up and cover shifts from Nampa Idaho.

Our Echo Technologist is responsible for performing all diagnostic echocardiography procedures like: 2-D, M-Mode and Doppler in Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiograms. Additionally the echo tech could preforming advanced procedures.

Job requirements:

  • Associate degree in Science or Allied Health Field (Nursing, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technologist, etc.) or a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Sonographer and a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be registered as one of the following:
    • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
    • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • If Oregon is the primary work state, colleague must obtain a Medical Imaging License issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) prior to hire date. If Idaho is the primary work state, colleague must obtain an Oregon license within 90 days of hire and may not provide any services in Oregon without an active Oregon license. Colleague must obtain and maintain an active, unrestricted Oregon license prior to providing any services in Oregon.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required.
  • Experience in M-mode, 2D Imaging, Color Doppler, and/or Contrast Echoes preferred
  • Working knowledge of Ultrasound Equipment, digital archiving, pediatric ultrasounds preferred.
  • Pediatric ultrasound training and experience preferred.
