Position Purpose:

Shred-it Secaucus, NJ is hiring for a Driver Helper. You will be assisting the Route Driver with taking care of all customer document destruction needs. This involves loading and unloading the truck at customer sites.


***4 Days a Week Mon-Fri; 7am Start; 10 hour Shifts; Hourly Pay! OT Available: Time &1/2 after 40 hrs***

Key Job Activities:
  • Assist Driver navigate Non Box Truck in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Swap out full bin of confidential information with an empty at customer location and wheel to Shred-it Box Truck.
  • Maintains a high level of security when emptying consoles and/or collection totes by ensuring all documents are retrieved and the consoles/containers are securely locked. Services accounts using a hand-held device, ensuring console/containers are barcoded, locations are up to date, and the accuracy of type and quantity of consoles/containers.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities, as needed.
Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to lift 50LB or more.
  • 1 year of past driver helper or warehouse experience is preferred.
