Position Summary:
This is an incredible opportunity for someone who will get excited about leading the charge on a unique program in support of a pioneering new therapeutic. The Donor Recruitment and Community Manager reports to the Associate Director, Donor Recruitment. This role will work closely with their site and with the corporate donor program to recruit and pre-screen healthy donor candidates in support of our novel donor derived products.
What You’ll Do:
- Phone screen a pipeline of leads and meet goals
- Clearly and consistently share requirements of participating in the donor program
- Follow-up with donors who have become inactive, investigate cause and request their return to the program
- Maintain donor retention and recognition programs
- Utilize known recruitment models and lead recruitment initiatives to build new leads and prospects among a target demographic of donors
- Identify collaboration opportunities with local organizations, businesses, and colleges
- Visit and present to prospective groups to discuss donation program
- Work with team to leverage social media and email campaigns
- Cultivate a culture of community and referrals within our donor population
- Coordinate activities with downstream Donor Program stakeholders
- Maintain detailed records and recommend process improvements
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in life science or medical related field, marketing or business preferred
- Previous experience working with a donor program is a plus
- Sales experience and CRM champion a plus
- Community building experience a plus
- Knowledge of Google Apps, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required; willingness to learn additional job-relevant software, as required
- Experience managing protected health information and sensitive medical discussions
- Experience with interview-based screening and management of medical information
- Ability to meet high volume candidate search targets
- Delivering assigned quantity of qualified candidates on time
- Strong phone etiquette, engaging conversationalist and professional demeanor
- Strong relationship building skills
- Must be goal driven and able to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and detail oriented
