The Division Director of Outreach supports the Division VP and AVP of Outreach, Outreach PPR Directors, division Telemedicine Department and hospital teams to enhance health care access to rural communities in Colorado and neighboring states through education, collaboration and innovation. Serves as a key liaison for prioritized partner facilities working with them to identify gaps in care and facilitates access to hospital and physician resources. This individual also functions as the project lead for identified gaps, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute innovativesolutions. Extensive travel required.



  • Develops and executes strategic plans to drive growth for the entire market from rural target areas, focused specifically on key service lines and telehealth opportunities.

  • Actively prospects for new referral sources with a “market centric” mindset for key service lines.

  • Builds strategic relationships with rural CEOs and physicians to assess gaps and offer assistance.

  • Creates data-driven business cases for strategic growth proposals, including rural telemedicine opportunities and alignment.

  • Leads outreach team to develop innovative solutions for identified barriers.

  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with division and hospital teams, such as marketing, IT, and hospital-based PPR team members.

  • Monitor growth in designated service areas and provide reports as requested.

  • Act as the facility liaison to prioritized partner facilities.

  • Develop and manage business opportunities with quantifiable outcomes.

  • Assist the VP of Outreach with state-level partnership opportunities.

  • Serve as the liaison to state rural health centers.

  • Keeps outreach leaders informed of key events and changes to the state rural health centers.

  • Organizes key conference attendance with the outreach PPR team.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Master’s degree in business or healthcare strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years healthcare experience required.

  • Progressive promotion within healthcare environment required.

  • Project Management experience required.

  • Previous experience in leadership with strategic focus in developing and executing growth plans for health care services required.

  • Rural healthcare knowledge preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Required knowledge of rural healthcare

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical and presentation skills.

  • Excellent relationship building and influence skills with rural healthcare leaders, physicians and internal stakeholders.
