District Manager

SUMMARY
The district manager is responsible for ensuring the correct and complete daily operations of several Moe’s locations. They will work with general managers and their staffs to guarantee that all guests are satisfied with their dining experience, overseeing the development and performance of general managers, assistant managers, and managers in training. In addition, they are responsible for optimizing profits and growing of sales, working with store management to implement and complete goals and benchmarks.
GENERAL
- Oversee and manage several restaurants to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability.
GUEST SERVICE
- Ensure 100% guest satisfaction in areas of Quality, Service & Cleanliness. If that goal is not met, take any and all actions needed to ensure that the dissatisfied guest becomes a regular guest.
PERSONNEL
- Provide direction to managers and team members regarding operational and procedural issues.
- Maintain an accurate and on-going management staffing needs at each restaurant. Interview prospective managers and shift leaders and ensuring that new members of management complete their training and development to company standards.
- Develop all managers by providing ongoing feedback. Conduct performance reviews to establish and evaluate performance goals.
- Ensure morale at the store level so it is known in the community to be “the place to work”.
FOOD SAFETY AND PLANNING
- Must be ServSafe certified.
- Must be a certified Moe’s Manager,
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of exterior, kitchen, and dining areas. Every location must maintain a score of 90% or higher for all state health inspections and Ecosure inspections.
- Ensure compliance with Moe’s/company operational standards. In doing so, each location must maintain a score of 90% or higher when The Rose Inspection is conducted by Moe’s corporate personnel.
- Maintain a professional image including cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards for oneself and throughout all their locations.
- Ensure efficient food flow from ordering, receiving, storing, and serving to guarantee high quality product, proper portioning, and low waste.
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect guests, employees, and company assets.
- Ensure a safe guest and working environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents. Ensure all necessary reports in a timely manner if a guest or employee is injured.
- Ensure effective shift management.
FINANCIAL
- Increase sales while minimize costs. Must meet sales, labor hours and food/paper cost goals at each store.
- Responsibility to ensure that all financial reporting (invoices, personnel, payroll and administrative) are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree preferred but not required. Previous restaurant experience is a must. A combination of related experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
- Knowledge of computers (MS Word and Excel)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be eligible to work in The United States.
- Must agree to a background check.

- Ability to perform effective interviews to determine the experience and qualifications of management applicants.
- Ability to effectively oversee 4-6 store locations.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Weekly work week should be 50 hours. Occasionally a district manager’s hours will vary to ensure the proper operation of their restaurants.
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting items and supplies weighing 50 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
- Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level as well carry out district manager obligations.
- Work with hot, cold, and hazardous restaurant equipment. Operation of phones, computers, and other office equipment.

- Reports to regional manager for his or her restaurants.
- Completes job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintains a harmonious working environment at each restaurant that will maximize team member morale, tenure, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
