DUTIES:- Daily dispensary retail operations, consulting with patients, and ensuring compliance with State regulations. This may include standing for extended periods of time
- Use the Inventory Management and Point-of-Sale systems successfully
- Engage with patients at a personal level to create an environment of connection and compassion
- Educate patients on medicinal effects to self and/or others, including strains, genetics, and effects of cannabis flowers as well as other forms of cannabis-derived medicines
- Educate patients on the various types of medical cannabis use, delivery, devices, and techniques
- Embody and represent the Remedy brand and its values
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients and employees
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Various assigned tasks necessary for day-to-day dispensary operations
QUALIFICATIONS:- Professional appearance with reliable and timely attendance
- Must have a high level of organization, patience, and flexibility
- Refined interpersonal skills by demonstrating the highest level of customer service and professional relationship maintenance with all people
- Ability to perceive and meet the needs of the staff and patients without direction
- 3+ years of retail sales or customer service preferred
- Professional cannabis training and certifications
- Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred
REQUIREMENTS:- Able to meet the Maryland State requirements for Dispensary Agents
- Minimum 21 years of age with valid MD state ID
- Clean criminal record, free of drug-related felonies
- Must be able to pass a background check with fingerprints
- Drug screening
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry 50 pounds
