Job Description Dispatch Customer Service Assistant Full-Time Haddad’s is an equipment rental company focusing on the movie and television industry. Haddad’s has been in business since 1954. The Corporate Office is located in Pittsburgh, PA with locations in New Jersey (focuses on New York), Michigan and Georgia (Atlanta and Savannah). Haddad’s provides trucks and trailers for about 180 movies a year and considered a high-end vendor. The role will assist the Equipment and Dispatch Director in fielding customer calls and dispatch services. Coordinate breakdown resolution and help ensure customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Assist with booking trailers. · Respond to customer inquiries or complaints regarding equipment and breakdowns or direct callers to the appropriate individual. · Schedule basic or routine repairs. · Coordinate communications and data between production crew and Equipment and Dispatch Director using telecommunications or email. · Maintain dispatch log and enforce DOT compliance. · Perform data entry on computer and maintain informational databases. · Set up and maintain computer and/or paper files for items such as repair orders and fuel reporting. · Organize, scan and record paperwork as received. · Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS · High school diploma or GED. · Minimum 1-2 years of administrative or transportation and logistics experience preferred. · Basic mechanical knowledge preferred but not required. · Must have a valid driver's license. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES · Knowledge of office procedures and administrative tasks. · Knowledge of standard office equipment including copiers, scanners, fax machines and keyboards. · Proficient in Microsoft Office programs to include Word and Excel. · Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with employees, vendors and clients. · Ability to successfully perform in a fast-paced and stressful environment. · Ability to work well in an office environment and work cooperatively with other team members. · Must be able to multi-task effectively and be detail oriented. · Candidate must have good communication and thorough follow-up. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS · Regular sitting, standing, walking, talking and hearing. · Frequent reaching, lifting, and using hands to grasp, push and pull. · Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard and computer. · Lifting up to 10 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT · Normal office environment with moderate noise level.
