About This Role
ALS is a rare, fatal, neurodegenerative disease characterized by the progressive loss of motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. The onset of ALS is usually between the ages of 40 to 70 years, with the average age at diagnosis being 55 years. Unfortunately, the typical life expectancy following diagnosis is only 3 to 5 years. Currently, there are no approved therapies that target the genetic underlying cause of ALS. Biogen is committed to furthering ALS research in an effort to bring therapies to people living with this rapidly progressing neurological condition.
Your intellectual curiosity and passion for winning help you thrive in a dynamic environment. You are an innovator, a proven marketing leader with the ability to work in a “roll-up your sleeves” culture, and a self-starter who functions well both independently and within a team. You have successfully mastered influencing and leading across the matrix to build credibility and strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. You leverage your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver results.
