The Director, Sales (Southeast Region) provides leadership, resource stewardship, and direct involvement in the company’s sales operations. As the organization’s regional sales leader, the Director of Sales is accountable for overall sales organization performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales objectives with firm business strategy.

This is a new role in the company necessary to manage our expanding managed infrastructure business as a result of several market launches. As such we are looking for a forward-thinking leader, with experience selling into all sectors of the mid to enterprise markets. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a customer-first sales experience for our customers and helping to enable their success through our frictionless sales process. Our Director, Sales (Southeast Region) will responsible for “doing the job” while they also build out a team of other sales professionals that manage outside sales partnerships with the direct support of the Marketing, Product Strategy, and Customer Enablement teams as well as the rest of the organization.

As the Director, Sales (Southeast Region) you would report directly to the President, carry P&L responsibility and contribute to the go-to-market strategy for the company. You will inspire and lead direct sales resources, outside sales partners, and help grow our alliances. In this role, you will establish, enhance and grow the careers of a sales team addressing a truly global marketplace, while maintaining the highest degree of diversity and inclusiveness, all while saving lives through the technology we offer.

Major Job Functions:

  • Meets agreed on targets for profitable sales volume and other key financial performance objectives.
  • Provides leadership and fosters a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
  • Establishes and maintains productive direct relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Establishes and governs the sales organization's performance management system. This includes establishing organizational principles for managing performance, prioritizing critical performance measures for all sales jobs; overseeing the equitable allocation of organization resources across all sales channels, markets, and personnel; and ensuring all key sales associates are held accountable for assigned results.
  • Work directly with President, Finance, and Operations to ensure profit and loss for the business is met or exceeded year over year and deliver accurate forecasts that drive the entire company operations
  • Accountable for effective sales organization design, including sales job roles, sales channel design, and sales resource deployment.
  • Accountable for the sales organization support budget. Proactively assesses existing sales organization investments, including those in technology, training, and administrative support.

  • Be a champion of the mission, vision, and values of the company, both internally and externally, enabling and driving success in the market.
  • Help to develop and constantly innovate our Product roadmap based on market intelligence and customer feedback. You’ll constantly be looking for both innovative new products and ways to expand existing services into new customer segments.
  • Improve global brand reputation & customer dedication while extending credibility as an inspiring leader and evangelist.
  • Align the sales organization’s objectives with firm business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in crafting, building, and delivering results within a high-performance technical company, serving the biggest brands in the business.
  • Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, business, marketing, or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly evaluate the market needs and weigh opportunities.
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills to envision what may happen in the future.
  • Ability to realize different trends across industries and offer innovative approaches to old problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
