The Opportunity:

Reporting to the VP, Customer Solutions Revenue Operations, the Director, Business Network PS Revenue Operations, is responsible for leading the operational and financial functions of the Business Network Cloud PS business unit within OpenText’s Customer Solutions Group (CSG). The role will partner closely with the SVP, Customer Solutions, Business Network Cloud Services (BN), acting as a trusted advisor driving forecasting cadences, business intelligence, and strategic program support for the WW BN organization. The role sits within the Customer Solutions Revenue Operations team which supports and enables the success of the entire CSG organization which also includes the Enterprise PS Business Unit and the LegalTech Business Unit, each with its own operational infrastructure. The Director, Business Network PS Operations, will collaborate with Revenue Operations leaders across the CSG Rev Ops team to ensure consistent reporting, processes and practices which contribute to a singular view of the entire CSG organization. The role will also work with Sales and Marketing Revenue Operations teams within the OpenText Business Network organization ensuring strategic alignment and of GTM processes, transactional process and policies for sales, definition of appropriate customer analytics and intelligence, and a shared approach to the delivery of BN PS. It will also work closely with FP&A managing revenue, expense, and margin forecasting as well as fiscal year planning. A team of operations analysts responsible for delivery system administration, analytics, reporting cadences, and other operational processes located in the Philippines and India report into this role.

The Director, Business Network PS Revenue Operations, is a high-profile role requiring frequent engagement with executive management and a strong voice influencing the operational and financial direction of the BN PS organization. BN PS is a key growth area for OpenText. The person in this role must be highly inquisitive, creative in defining solutions, capable of learning quickly, savvy with analytics and financial management processes, and agile in the approach to demands, challenges, and change. In this role you will act as both player and coach, owning your own deliverables and output as well as managing and driving the deliverables and activities of your team and cross-functional resources.

What It Takes:

  • Manage key business operations activities and continuous improvement of the processes.
  • Manage process and reporting activities to include financial, operational, organizational, compliance, efficiency, and others.
  • Define, collect and analyze data to provide decision support to senior management.
  • Drive program direction including governance and reporting, prioritization of initiatives, ROI analysis and ongoing project supervision.
  • Represent and advocate for the BN PS organization in cross-functional initiatives and projects including M&A activity, IT project prioritization, and cross-functional global initiatives.
  • Interface cross-functionally to maintain communication among field leaders and business groups.
  • Work with cross-functional groups to ensure all documents and tools are kept up to date and communicated in a timely fashion.
  • Participate in the development of overall objectives and long-term goals of the organization.
  • Act as custodian of key financial, operational and fiscal plan data across BN PS.
  • Undertake ad hoc strategic, analytics, and program activity.


What You Bring:

  • Deep knowledge of both Cloud professional services business models and delivery practices as well as KPIs connected to time-based and subscription-based professional services.
  • Experience in financial modeling, P&L management, forecasting models, and capacity planning.
  • Comfort with data and analytics tools, building analytical models from scratch, aggregating data from multiple data sources, and using data to support decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of Professional Services Automation platforms including specific experience with NetSuite OpenAir functionality and reporting.
  • Strong project management skills with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate resources outside of a direct management line towards a common goal.
  • Ability to communicate complete information (verbal and written) in a clear concise manner and approach challenges creatively.
  • Ability to work across multiple silos within the organization and lead cross functional teams to successful outcomes, including an ability to address complex situations into actionable plans.
  • Strong organization skills including the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to see and communicate the big picture across multiple initiatives, functional areas, or projects.
  • Identify and comprehend business changes quickly and communicate to executive/business sponsors.
  • Success in building trusted relationships with peers and colleagues across an organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • General facility with systems and technical tools.
  • Ability to work at and with all levels of management.
