Director, Regional Export Control The Director, Export Control (DEC) primary responsibility is to support DHL Supply Chain business areas globally to understand and comply with the requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) for in-scope operations globally, and develop the ITAR global framework in line with issued standards. Key support globally with other US federal export control regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and the regulations administered by the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) in addition to similar other export and related US regulations. The DEC main and supporting tasks includes the development of ITAR control frameworks for global application, training, education compliance and assessment/monitoring tools, and supporting the implementation of policies and procedures in business areas and operations to promote DHL Supply Chain ongoing compliance with ITAR and related laws.
