Description:Hancock Askew, a regional accounting firm, has an exciting career opportunity to lead the firm’s Valuation Advisory team that serves our Georgia and Florida offices. We are looking for a Director to join our team that is an experienced valuation professional with strong communication skills and excels in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. The Director can be located at any of the Hancock Askew offices and will be leading the team as it relates to valuations, quality of earnings and due diligence procedures and reports.QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • ASA and/or CFA designation (or significant progress made towards the designation and expected to be obtained within 2 years) and/or CPA/ABV designation
  • 7+ years business valuation experience (financial reporting, tax, transactional) with a Big 4, Top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, or national valuation firm
  • Demonstrated experience in fair value measurements for financial reporting purposes (e.g., ASC 805, ASC 350, ASC 718)
  • Ability to work independently on multiple engagements simultaneously with competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based environment
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance and financial accounting
  • Experience working with Capital IQ and/or the Bloomberg Professional Database
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Ability to effectively interact directly with senior client personnel and key decision-makers
  • Highly-motivated and positive attitude
  • Flexibility of work schedule to meet client needs required
  • Willingness to travel as required
