The Role - Director of Training & Development - Remote
This full-time remote position will be responsible for enhancing and developing EOSW's training department, during an accelerated growth phase. You will work with several Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to design and develop the curriculum that will correlate with several levels of EOS Certification. This role will be responsible for developing methodology, with a set of templates and aids, to assist in creating new courseware and modifying existing courseware.
You will manage all aspects of the curriculum's development and work to keep the team diligently on schedule and within budget. You will have the resources, tools and support of your amazing EOS team members to leverage your expertise and accomplish organizational goals.

Leading with humble confidence, you will be strategic and responsible for developing and executing effective methodologies, materials and programs, as well as making regular modifications as necessary. You have a knack for building rock-steady teams! The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with recruitment to identify, hire, train and build teams with an emphasis on individual development.
The person will report directly to the EOS Worldwide Community Leader. This role will be referred to as Training & Development Director internally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the company's learning design standards and tools
  • Oversee growing department of 5-10 while managing department budget
  • Identify competencies and learning objectives to drive curriculum design and development
  • Develop and maintain the training curriculum to fulfill the curriculum's learning objectives
  • Collaborate with leadership team to ensure programs achieve organizational goals while meeting needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify, develop and manage the organization's next Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Review training effectiveness; identify, recommend and implement ongoing improvements
  • Manage project schedules and budget
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years direct Instructional System Design (ISD) experience with a MA/MS in related field (Education, I/O Psychology, Instructional Design OR 10+ years direct ISD with a BA/BS in related field required
  • Expert knowledge of principles and standards of instructional design and learning theory
  • Demonstrated experience with Adult Learning best practices
  • Strong ability to take concepts, and execute into actionable deliverables, producing desired results
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills including platform, verbal and written
  • Advanced leadership skills in strategic planning while managing processes and team members
  • Demonstrated success in staff oversight, vendor management and budget oversight
  • Passionate for growing teams, having managed teams of 5 or more
  • Google Suite
  • Adobe Suite
  • Knowledge of common LMS standards and practices

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • International experience a plus
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Knowledge of EOS a plus
  • Direct entrepreneurial experience or working for an entrepreneurial organization

Location: Work from home position with occasional work travel/SE Michigan
Compensation: $120,000 - $125,000/year base salary with the potential for a merit-based bonus plus health benefits, flex-time, 401k match, monthly tech stipend, flex PTO, FSA, and more!
