The Position Aero Gear is seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented, innovative leader with a strategic mindset to fill this key management role. You will operate in an environment involving the procurement of raw materials, as well as key components, such as machined parts, bearings and hardware to support our assembly operations. You will be deeply involved with production control and inventory management and the performance of factory operations. Overall, you will be comfortable both in the world of planning, purchasing and supplier management, as well as operations. There will be ample opportunity to apply your prior experience in continuous improvement through the use of Kaizen and lean manufacturing techniques to optimize our operations. Qualifications If you are a person with a background in purchasing and supply management, and/or experience in planning, manufacturing operations or Lean manufacturing roles – you could be a good fit for this position. We work in a team-based environment, so you would be leading a strong team and would need to provide clear goals and objectives, while maintaining strong communication and alignment of the team as a cohesive, cross-trained unit. You will work closely with senior company management, so you would need to display excellent organization, communication and presentation skills.
