Now hiring Director of Social Work/Admissions Coordinator!

This is a full-time opportunity to join our leadership team and make a positive impact within the organization.

Essential job functions include:

  • Supervising and directing the social work department.
  • Monitoring documentation, coordination of services, and individual staff responsibilities.
  • Acting as a liaison between social work staff and administration.
  • Conducting interviews, hiring and orienting new social work staff.
  • Evaluating social work processes for effectiveness, making recommendations for changes.
  • Responding to all inquiries regarding services available at Fairport Baptist including phone calls, emails, walk-ins and tours.
  • Communicating with referral sources, prospective applicants and families.
  • Reviewing referral information from numerous sources.
  • Coordinating the admission process in conjunction with interdepartmental staff.
  • Maintaining the admissions census board for admissions and discharges.

Master’s degree in Social Work preferred, Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work required.

Long-term care and/or experience working in geriatrics preferred.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Strong organizational and computer skills required.
