Keystone Center is seeking a full time Director of Risk Management/Quality Assurance. Keystone Center is located in Delaware County, PA. Keystone Center offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults.
The Director of Risk Management/Quality Assurance functions as the Chair of Keystone's Performance Improvement Committee and facilitates the hospital -wide Total Quality Management Program. Primary responsibilities include: ongoing program compliance audits; this individual serves as a key member of hospital leadership and must work in cooperation with physician staff and other department managers. Directs and implements all aspects of Keystone's Risk Management program in accordance with the UHS T.E.R.M. program with the identification and evaluation of Keystone Center risks and/or exposures through ongoing inspection of the internal organizational and accountability structures; Policy and Procedure review; membership on all Keystone committees; and review of all facility occurrence reports.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.
Identify, analyze, and manage all areas of potential loss hospital-wide; Respond to all serious incidents in cases of real or potential claims; Investigate all such incidents; Implement hospital-wide Risk Management plan; Review and update the Risk Management plan annually; Knowledge of the patient safety initiatives; conduct all aspects of peer review and root cause analysis; Coordinate and oversee policy and medical records to prevent incident/claim frequency; Communicate frequently and effectively with Corporate Risk Manager; Conduct education to staff regarding risk management program and safety initiatives; Act as facility resource; Participate as Compliance Officer; Investigate all necessary information for all levels of events; Review and implement "Best Practices, Review facility contracts; Participate in the safety and security committees; participate in safety walk-through and surveillance rounds; Investigate all serious and sentinel events with guidance form Corporate Risk Manager; Prepare and submit all reports to corporate office timely and effectively; Report findings and trends to all appropriate committees; report all risk management information to CEO and Govering Board; Assistance and oversight of appointments/credentialing of medical staff; Coordinating and preparing for all licensing and accreditation surveys.
Education: Bachelors Degree in behavioral health related field or current registered nurse (RN) with addictions/psychiatric treatment experience preferred. Experience: Minimum of two years full time paid direct experience in inpatient/residential treatment facility. Minimum of two years full time supervisory experience preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure when applicable Knowledge: Knowledge of PA State, JCAHO and Mental Health licensing standards Supervision Received: Chief Executive Officer Supervision Exercised: Medical Records
