Job no: 69323 The Director of Human Resources is responsible to provide policies, procedures, and processes relating to personnel, employee and management development, employee recruitment and retention, salary administration, benefit administration, labor relations, employee health, workers' compensation, talent and organizational development, payroll processing, and all laws and regulations that pertain to human resources. They direct all aspects of Human Resource administration including the planning, strategic goals and objectives of the human resources and payroll departments: biweekly payroll, benefits administration, annual open enrollment processing, leave administration and coordination, injury reporting, ergonomic and WC administration, recruitment, advertising, hiring compliance, onboarding, orientation, new hire processing, EAP consultation and referral, disciplinary process to include terminations, UI claims and hearings, legal issues, annual charitable campaigns, seasonal employee events. They ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, and identify trends that could impact organizational objectives and/or resources. They are responsible for the supervision and development of a staff of six employees, and ensure fair and consistent application of policies and consistently evaluate for continual improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of current processes. They coordinate and integrate required campus processes for recruitment, pre-employment, orientation, file review, discipline and termination. The Director is responsible for the development and implementation of employee Leave of Absence programs including Disability, Family Medical Leave, Paid Family Medical Leave, return to work, modified/light duty programs, and ADA claims while following all OSHA, Federal, and State regulations. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field required. 7 to 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience including labor relations, benefit administration and project management. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters’ and advanced HR certification preferred. Monday - Friday, daytime hours
