About this role
We are looking for a Director of Human Resources to join our team! You will build and lead the people and human resource function for CharterUP, enabling us to enter hyper-growth stage. We've hired over 70 people over the last nine months and need to increase our hiring velocity even more, so get ready for a a very fast-paced environment!
What You’ll Do
- Own people and HR accountabilities such as recruiting, onboarding, benefits, training, and career development
- Partner with CEO, CFO, and executive team to grow our high-performing, elite organization
- Drive morale and engagement for all teams, including sales, operations, and engineering
- Conduct check-ins with managers and individuals and serve as resource to entire company on people matters
- Meaningfully contribute to our talent acquisition strategy, particularly for director level hires and above in engineering, sales, and operations
- Foster CharterUP principles
What You’ll Need
- Passion for CharterUP's mission and intellectual curiosity about CharterUP's business
- Outstanding academic credentials from a top national university or standout corporate experience
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred
- Track record of taking a startup from ~75 people to ~300+ people with excellence in talent acquisition
- Background in recruiting and experience building world-class engineering teams
- Ability to develop HR and talent strategies strategies using a logical, systematic approach
- Ability to bring recruit and engage 99th percentile achievement
- An extroverted, empathetic personality with ability to elicit trust from team members
Location
- We are a remote-first company where employees can live anywhere they choose
- Post-pandemic, CharterUP will have optional satellite hybrid offices in Atlanta, New York City, San Francisco, and Austin
