Director of Grants Management

As a Director of Grants Management, you will work with the Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer to develop and maintain organization-wide system that ensures optimal grant stewardship. You will coordinate and oversee all aspects of the grant application, reporting, and management process. You will support a variety of activities related to compliance with the Federally Qualified Health Center status and resource development. In this role you will manage Strategy Support Specialist and you will report to Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads all grant writing for new and continuing grant submissions, ensuring complete and timely applications to include:
- identification of potential new funding sources,
- development of funding resources for existing and proposed programs and/or services
- writing and editing competitive grants,
- Tracks receipts and reports payments of checks for grant distributed funds.
- Works with finance to submit invoices for grant fund reimbursement.
- Works with Chief Financial Officer to support development of budgets, monitoring the implementation of grants for compliance with timeline and performance, collaborating on grant applications with appropriate staff and partner organizations, and processing, monitoring and coordinating required reports evaluations on existing grants.
- Works with Grants Accountant to track grant program budgets and reimbursements.
- Completes required federal grant forms, budget documents and program updates.
- Supports grant programs in submitting timely and accurate reports as required by funders.
- Prepares for and participates in grant compliance meetings and site visits with funding agencies.
- Serves as primary point of contact for foundations, local government funders and state funders. Ensures that HealthLinc is meeting its financial strategic efforts for annual grant income and sustainability of current funding sources.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training
- Bachelor’s degree in health care, public health, business administration, communications or related area.
- Master’s Degree in related area (preferred but not required).
Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in grant writing, project implementation, program development or healthcare management experience.
- Proven track record in securing both government grants and private/corporate foundation grants
- Experience interpreting, understanding, and implementing state, federal, corporate, and foundation grant requirements
