GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The Director of GME contributes to the company’s mission and vision by leading operations for Graduate Medical Education in a designated division segment within the HCA East Florida Division, in consultation with the GME leadership and manages defined GME enterprise-wide initiatives.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Directs GME new program growth and program maintenance in the assigned Group.
• Establishes process for new program growth strategy in assigned Divisions.
• Ensures various stakeholders contribute appropriately and maximize utilization of resources, standardization of program development and the efficient use of external consulting support
• Is responsible for the accuracy of Division new program development project plans and ensures accurate documentation and follow through of action items
• Serves as direct point of contact for external consultants for Group
• Ensures the maintenance of accurate program information in SalesForce, MedHub or other systems used by GME

EDUCATION:

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of seven years of GME experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience managing and operating complex structures is preferred Effective working knowledge of healthcare systems
