Position: Director of Campus Operations
Reports to: Senior Director of Campus Operations
Location: STRIVE Prep- Central Office (Denver, CO)
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000*

OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The Director of Campus Operations (DCO) will co-create and implement a shared vision alongside the Senior Director of Campus Operations (SDCO) for highly functioning campus operations teams. All the while, the DCO will intentionally focus workflows to meet that vision of maintaining clear operational systems that allow the instructional team to strategically attend to teaching and learning. This individual will also serve as a key liaison between campus operations teams and the Central finance, human resources, IT, and external affairs teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coaching and Development
- Provide robust support and direction for Assistant Principals of Operations (APOs), driving them to become the COO of their campus.
- Coaching on coaching: Operations Coordinators, Office Managers, and Registrars receive development and support from their APOs. High performers are identified and developed for advancement within the organization.
- Gather inputs from respective Central teams and develop agendas for Campus Collaboration Days. information dissemination and evaluating ops team understanding. integration of that information.
- Select and oversee an annual cohort of Ops Fellows and lead monthly professional development deep-dives to create an internal talent development pathway for future operations leaders
Best Practices
- Critically identify and demonstrate intentional, consistent documentation of best practices.
- Identify best practices from campus operations teams that are shared consistently and highlight innovation in the highest-leverage areas for network operational improvement.
Project Management:
- Utilize effective project management skills which includes, but is not limited to: identifying key milestones, designing backwards plans, getting investment from all necessary stakeholders, driving project completion through effective execution.
- Create a comprehensive operations manual to codify best practices and to systematize campus operations where applicable.
Systems and Processes:
- Evaluate and support campus creation/refinement of operations systems and procedures in accordance with STRIVE Prep and DPS policies and procedures.
- Evaluate and provide campuses with feedback regarding the efficacy of campus emergency response procedures. Liaise with DPS Safety to support in shoring up safety procedural gaps.
- Provide secondary oversight and accountability for campus controlled budgets to ensure resources are appropriately allocated to meet instructional needs, minimize waste and protect excess funds.
- Serve as a point of escalation for the management and oversight of the school’s physical condition in relationship with DPS Facilities.
- Collaborate with principals to provide/receive input regarding campus operations needs and support.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-3 years of previous operational leadership experience with evidence of efficiency and effectiveness
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated success working with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and experiential backgrounds
- 2-3 years of previous experience in Education

This is a full-time exempt position and is eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
