Position Summary: Responsible for business development, team management and performance of all Digital Transformation Strategic Initiative sales activities across local, strategic and global business. Leads within a matrix environment with CDC Leadership and Field Leadership teams providing direction and support towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to grow strategic initiative with a focus on new business development.
Responsibilities 1.Develops business plans and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company growth goals and profitability across all regions of the world within the strategic initiative with initial focus on North American footprint.
2.Coordinates and creates consistent messaging and drives thought leadership campaigns to educate customers and influencers on portfolio of solutions and their associated business outcomes.
3.Works closely with leadership team to develop transitional and integration plans for strategic initiative into CTC organization including alignment of strategic business development and strategic operational support.
4.Works closely with functional CTC leadership on the business development and operational alignment of the strategic initiative.
5.Creates alliances and partnerships with market influencers and partners to drive market demand and identifies growth opportunities in key markets.
6.Responsible for creating, monitoring and revising lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline. Finds new and creative ways of engaging with customers.
7.Responsible for the performance and development of assigned accounts utilizing the entire Convergint team.
8.Prepares action plans for regional/global accounts. Ensures that customers are informed of new solution introductions and related delivery models.
9.Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new regional and global accounts leveraging the strategic initiative.
10.Contributes to the development of training and educational programs for Account Executives.
11.Assists in the recruitment of Account Executives (AEs) based on criteria agreed upon by senior management and local leadership providing support and subject matter expertise to the local team.
12.Conducts on the job training to develop AEs on how to manage and grow an account leveraging the strategic initiative. Provides feedback to senior management regarding performance.
13.Works with team to provide competitive pricing on proposals and strives to maintain maximum profit margin while helping educate local teams on the uniqueness of this space.
14.Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals, presentations, and RFP responses within Strategic Initiative.
15.Partners with VP Technology and others to maintain and develop partners and alliances focused in this space.
16.Develops market strategies for digital transformation applications similar to Identity Management systems, AI Video solutions, Biometric/touchless, RTLS, Robotics, Cloud Applications, Fusion/RTCC Systems, etc.
17.Managerial responsibilities include but are not limited to: mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues; planning, assigning and directing work; performance management; project budget working through regional and local leadership supporting mutually agreed upon goals within this strategic initiative.
18.Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
19.Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Skills Expected to think and act both strategically and tactically: from the creation of marketing strategy and product/solution positioning to the details of content development, go-to-market efforts and education programs.
Experience with customers c-level management interaction to drive strategic initiatives
Proven ability to develop a strategic capture plan and successfully secure long-term partnership with enterprise customers
Proven experience in managing a national/ global virtual sales team
Highly energetic and results-oriented, strong team player and communicator with an ability to work under pressure in a matrix structure
Conversant with products/systems and solutions of Convergint Technologies relevant to the strategic initiative and their value propositions
Strong verbal/written communication and outstanding presentation skills required
Demonstrated ability to influence others
Ability to work independently as well as coach/manage team within a matrix structure
Strong analytical skills necessary to resolve problems and look for solutions
Strong financial analytical skills
Strong ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members

Strong and demonstrated background in selling solutions specifically within the strategic initiative to include cloud, IoT, Data and AI Solutions.

Other Expereince Requirements: Minimum of seven years of successful sales & management experience in the area of the strategic initiative (electronic security and strategic initiative specific solutions) required
Demonstrated experience selling and managing complex National and Global Accounts
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Willingness to travel and work in a regional/global team of professionals
Proven leadership and ability to drive sales and management teams within strategic initiative.
Experience selling complex software/hardware/service based solutions requiring strong business case.
