System1 is seeking a self-motivated dynamic individual to serve as the Director, Financial Systems. In this role you will be responsible for the management and oversight of systems required to maintain the financial records of the company. You should have a strong background in working for technology companies and financial systems for this type of business. As part of our Finance team, this position will play a critical role in System1’s Finance and Accounting department. You will be working alongside our exceptional accounting team. What You Can Expect on the Team
- System administrator for Oracle, ADP, Chromeriver and all other financial systems
- Oversight of change management, authorization of changes and ensuring segregation of duties between development and release
- Collaborate with Oracle and other business consultants as needed to resolve technical issues
- Identify and implement system configuration and process improvements surrounding financial systems
- Implement and manage financial system integrations
- Operate as point for users of the financial systems as issues arise
- Manage and prioritize the backlog of financial systems projects
- Review user access on a periodic basis for segregation and adequacy issues
- Manage and assist with SOX implementation and ongoing compliance with policies and procedures
- Work with management to build out financial reporting as needed
- Assist with interim and annual audits by ensuring audit request are executed in a timely manner
- Build and maintain a working understanding of all business systems, including third party and in house systems and how they interact with the Company’s financial systems
- Partner with business acquisitions to integrate legacy financial systems
- Perform ad hoc requests and special projects on an ongoing basis
What You Will Bring
- 10+ years of progressive financial systems management experience, including public company experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- Strong grasp of concepts and processes in accounting and finance including multi-entity consolidations and foreign currency revaluation and translations
- Familiarity with internet industry
- Current Oracle Cloud Application experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues in a simple manner
- Ability to multi-task several important priorities simultaneously
